The President of the Senate , Ahmad Lawan , and the principal officers of the red chamber are currently holding a crucial meeting behind closed doors with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities led by its President , Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi .
The meeting would discuss the alternative designed by ASUU to the Integrated Personnel Payroll System by the Federal Government for the payment of civil servants ’ salaries.
