Police arrest commercial cyclist for rape, murder and sale of parts of passengers for N100k

Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of 50-year-old Patience Komore, who disappeared in Delta state on August 2, 2021.

State Police Commissioner CP Ari Mohammed Ari said that the deceased was last seen going to Umeh Market in LGA Isoko Selatan to pick up fish.

He said, “DSB has mobilized police officers, vigilante groups and community leaders who continue to work together to gather information about the case.

On the advice of Onos Simon (25) arrested a commercial motorcyclist on August 3 who was carrying the woman that day.

During interrogation, the suspect admitted to the murder of Mrs. Komore, by agreement with a cobbler from Akpoghene, who is now at large.

They mistreated him and paid him N40,000 before taking him away. Not only were they killed, but their eyes and private parts were ripped out.

The suspect also admitted that a man, Lucky Daniel from Ohoro City, arranged for them to bring the body parts over after paying them N100,000.

The decomposing bodies were found and kept in the morgue. Citizens are encouraged to assist the police with useful information that will lead to the arrest of escaped suspects”.
